You've got the Qs, we've got the As

What if my wedding has already passed?

If your wedding or special event has already passed, skip the deposit and shop your preservation on our shop page. Please note we have a $400 minimum. Head to checkout with your order and we will follow up with detailed packing and shipping instructions to ensure your flowers reach us safely.

How long until I get my order?

Orders take about 5 months to complete. During peak wedding season (May-October) there may be longer turnaround times due to an increase in volume. We work in a first-come-first-serve basis unless your date is reserved ahead of time.

Each preservation is carefully handmade and materials locally sourced.

What can I expect?

Each preservation is 100% handmade and carefully crafted so imperfections and small bubbles are often unavoidable. Drying flowers in silica sand is the best way to preserve the florals natural beauty.

Color changing is to be expected. All colors will darken, whites will ivory, and light pink may appear duller.
Your bouquets' original beauty is preserved and carefully crafted into keepsakes to cherish for a lifetime.

Can I display my piece in direct sunlight?

It's best to keep your preservation away from direct sunlight to ensure the longevity of the resin. Continually exposing your resin preservation to direct sunlight can cause dulling or ambering.

Will my flowers look exactly as they did when they were fresh?

Fresh and dried flowers look different and therefore will not look exactly as they did when they were fresh. At Bouquet Casting Co we dry our flowers in special absorbent sand, this is the best way to preserve each flower in their natural shape with the least amount of color change.

Still some color changing is inevitable with certain flowers.

How long will my piece last?

A lifetime! Expect your pieces to age with you and continue the story. Colors may fade over the years.

Can I preserve artificial flowers?

Yes! However some artificial flowers may not press into frames.

Can I design my own piece?

Yes! You can send your florals to us or custom order pieces using our inventory of flowers. You have full control to customize your own design any way you would like!

Can I use an air dried bouquet?

We can absolutely still make a beautiful arrangement or shadowbox from a fully dried bouquet. The resin can preserve your dried bouquet for a lifetime.

Is there a minimum order amount?

We have a $400 minimum order for bridal bouquet preservations to ensure each order gets the careful time and quality it deserves.

How do I ship my
bouquet to you?

Head to our Packing & Shipping page for step-by-step instructions to pack up and ship your flowers to our studio safely. We've had brides ship their flowers from Hawaii to Philadelphia. Shipping your flowers is more a battle against time than any problems that could arise from the shipping process.

How do I reserve
my wedding date?

Head over to the Reserve Your Date page or the Shop page and head to checkout with your $200 Bouquet Preservation Deposit. Once your deposit has been submitted, your date will officially be reserved in our calendar and we'll send you detailed instructions on how to safely package and ship your bouquet to us. We'll guide you the whole way to ordering and receiving your dream collection.

Is my deposit deducted from
my final order total?

Yes! Once you submit your $200 deposit, you'll receive a unique coupon code that'll deduct your $200 deposit from your order total.

When do I select my items after
submitting my deposit?

You can shop your whole order anytime after your deposit is paid and before your bouquet arrives at our studio.

Drying whole bouquets in silica sand requires a lot of time, resources, and studio space, so we ask that you please head to checkout with your full order before we can begin drying your bouquet and preparing it for preservation.

Can you recreate my bouquet if I no longer have it or have flowers missing?

Yes! Get in touch about your bouquet and we'll see about recreating it from our studio flowers and florist partners.

I don't see what I want in the shop, can I make a custom request?

Of course! Several items currently in our shop were added after a custom order. We always welcome custom requests -- Get in touch and we'll see how we can help!

Can I preserve artificial flowers?

Yes! Artificial flowers can be preserved in resin products, but not pressed.

Are there any flowers that cannot be preserved?

Yes, succulents cannot be preserved in any form due to their water content.

Certain lillys can become translucent in resin. We recommend Color Restoration for large white lillys, antheriums, and some tropicals.

What do you do with the leftover flowers?

We only preserve the best of the florals we receive and only enough to fulfill your order. To modify your order, please notify us as soon as possible.
